About Our County
Heard County is located in the northern west central part of Georgia serving a population of over 11, 000 citizens with the county seat being in Franklin, Georgia. Centralhatchee and Ephesus are 2 other cites located in our county.
Sheriff Ross Henry and his dedicated staff of men and women are proud to carry out the duties that they have been entrusted with by the citizens of this county. The Sheriff's Office currentrly consists of (13) Patrol Division units, (4) CID units and (19) Jail Staff.
